D clone still possible

Is it possible to fight the dclone/uberdiablo or whatever he is called anymore?

I'm playing non-ladder and if you can fight him on Ladder-only, then please excuse my ignorance.... But i thought i read that he appears after so many SOJs have been sold. I've been playing for about 2 months now and have yet to see him appear.

I imagine that it just isn't possible anymore due to the smaller community and the sheer fact that people aren't selling their sojs at a high rate anymore.

Thoughts? Comments?

as to the possibility of facing him non ladder, dunno ive always played ladder.

i dont remember the guide saying you couldn't but i only skimmed it, so i might have missed it.

Dclone will walk on all HELL games on ladder and non-ladder. you will get the soj sell messages on normal and nightmare games but he only walks on hell mode
