Have fun with the Botters (Very easy)

This "article" I wrote is about anti-botting. It does not support any third party programm, cheating or foul play.

As most of you know, 90% of the players at the moment are actually bots. Magic find, Chaos Sanctuary and Baal bots.

The most commond 3rd party programm has one really nice bug.

When you open your chat screen in game and put as many dots (.) as you can and hit the enter the bot crashes.

The bot freezes and does not do anything. After a while the bot makes time out.

Some timeout faster than others.

Here�s the fun part.

Join the baal game that has only one player, yes it�s bot

As soon as you join the bot sends you a party

Join party and take tp to 3rd floor

Open you chat and write this "................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ................................." .

As many dots as you can put in your chat.

Dont hit the enter yet, wait for the second wave.

When second wave spawns, hit enter and move to corner

Now see how the health bar of the hammerdin/sorc bot goes down down down.

Some timeout but nearly half of the bots are KIA

Second fun

No need for gold find barbarian anymore

You need teleporting/fast runner char for this one

Easiest map to do this is chaos sanctuary

Join game

take party

Wait for bot to go out from town

Crash it (near the wp if possible)

Hostile it

Wait few seconds untill you can use the wp again

Go after the bot and make easy kill (look out for the merc, it will still work)

Grab the gold and ear.

I had stash full of bot ears after few hours of play.

A small additional piece of info to make this easier:

1. Spam the "............................................. ." line a few times in one game.


2. enter new game


3. hit enter and up-arrow to get the "......................." message back without typing it again.

This trick works for other chat messages too ofc ... just though it could be rather useful in this case since typing the dots takes a moment even when holding down "." .|||Ooooh ohh this is nice! Does it crash the whole game? Can they recreate games afterwards?

Put them all in to your friend list and use the "/f m" command to spam them all

Massive time outs|||It works! Too bad the bots don't lose xp from player kill though

Getting a game with leechbots is fun too.|||This was a fun addition to my old project (will announce details later on ). Already managed to get one to die from Baal.|||This is why I bot in my own private and passworded games.|||This is fun :)
