Hello, Ive a question on armour, for Diablo pros on site. Ive deveoped a Barb that leans towards tactical play. Hes level 38 at this time, in final act, and, in act 2, I found a unique helm, the Coif of Glory, it blinds monsters (except unique and champions), and, with 2 jeweled swords ( 3 perfect gems in each, one poison, one cold), the combo makes for a perfect tactical game.
My question is, does anyone know of a helm, or armor of higher defense ratings, that utilizes a binding spell, like my current helm ? Its a low defense helm, so Im pretty cut up when I face unique or champions. Any feedback would be appreciated. |||iceblink is a unique splint mail that freezes enemies|||I always gear with special effects and making tactical characters sounds fun! Even things as simple as "chance to cast Frost Nova" can be deceptively effective.
I went looking around on The Arreat Summit and the only Unique or Set armor/helm I could find is Darksight Helm. It's a bit better, but has a low chance to cast Dim Vision when your hit.
There are no Set items that blind, but there are a few Unique weapons that do. There are also several Runeword weapons that do as well, but only one Runeword armor: Gloom. It takes a few mid-runes (Fal-Um-Pul), but is actually a decent armor.
