is there a way to hold 2 torchs?

so back when i first joined this site in 2008 i remember reading a thread on a site, i honestly can't remember if it was here or not, that you could hold 2 torchs on a character but you'd only get the stats from one. it was a way of reducing the ammount of mules you needed to hold them. i think it was a glitch of some kind (pretty much has to be as you can't hold more than one normally). i've been trying to find it because i'd hate to make 30+ mules to hold torches, and just about nothing else.

anyways i was hoping if any of you remember seeing something like this, or know if it's been patched. can someone point me in the right direction as google isn't being much help right now|||Quote:

Never heard about such glitch and afaik it's not possible.|||that's good enough for me. i was just hoping someone had seen it somewhere so i didn't think i was going mad. i coulda swore i saw it though cause the guy recommened it for holding more than one anni, torch, and gheeds to make it easy on trading.

there is a way but I forget exactly....



something like, hold torch, get killed pick up second torch and do not pick up body until you need the other torch. I am not sure how reliable it is. I have not use that methond. Google it.|||I can't say I remember all the details either, but I think Spiffy is right. I think you can have one in you're inventory and one on your corpse.|||i dont think so. how do u manage it? even after death u have torch in inventory u loose just gear...and u have to keep torch in inv or "in hand" (on cursor)...|||I died once with a gc on my cursor. It was a public game, so I thought it dropped on the ground and I lost it. But once I retreived my body it was on my inventory again. Not entirely sure, but I think I got it back when I retreived my body, not right after death. So I guess its possible|||Quote:

I used to use that method when muling just to carry a bit extra , anything on your cursor when you leave game will be on your cursor in the new game .
