[:1]I'm not an extremely rich player nor have I just begun playing this game. I have however, spent weeks saving and trading to make a faith bow... I finally managed to gather all the materials and voila.... instead of the 2/15 or even 2/14 I was hoping for I roll a 1/12. I somehow managed to buy the runes again and go semi-bankrupt and was praying to the Diablo gods for better luck. Afterall, once you've rolled the lowest possible roll you can't lose anything by trying again, right?
Lo and behold a better roll...... 1/13. Wun *bleep*in thurteeeeen. 2 ohms and 2 jahs down the drain which is more than half the value of everything I own. I could swear there was an evil kid at Blizzard giggling while putting in those unbearable numbers when I inserted the last rune....
Now, should I feel happy that I rolled higher the second time instead of getting another 1/12 or should I do what I feel like doing and choke an infant? -_- Hope I can kill off some brain cells with a glass(or bottle if need be) of Wild Turkey.

A bit cruvis. A little fron-ache.|||It happens, mate. I rerolled a spirit (albiet cheaper than faith) in a perfect monarch 36 times before giving up and using it as a switch shield purley for the +2 skills.
If the RNG hates you, the RNG hates you.|||Quote:

Hrm, I keep a spirit on switch on my keyrunner and just keep re-rolling it as countess drops the runes. I honestly have no idea how many times I've re-rolled that sucker. I'm actually a little amazed that people count these things.|||I only counted because I know how many Hels I used to have :)|||Quote:

What's odd is that I have OCD with nearly every single thing in this game now... But re-rolling runewords isn't one of them.
I rolled a 39/395 Grief PB for my smiter, and I actually wanted to trade it for a lower Grief and some other stuff to get more outta it.
Once I finally make a runeword, I'm usually good, even if it's a low roll... I just move on to the next item I want to make.
I find this strange too considering everything else in this game that drives me insane...|||Quote:

Any grief is amazing, but 35% FCR spirit for a lot of builds lets you exactly hit a breakpoint, so it is pretty important to get a perfect roll on FCR. The mana and magic sorb are less important, although they are nice stats to have.|||I feel for ya, but keep in mind that a 13 aura faith is MUCH better than 12 if it's in a GMB.|||Feel happy that you actually have two faiths (unless you used the same weapon to reroll). There are some builds that really need the +skills or the increased attackspeed from higher lvl fana, but most builds you can make are quite robust and will work pretty well regardless. Those extra numbers sure are nice, but unless you min-max, there is no need to feel disappointed just because you didn't reach the absolutely best this time.|||It doesn't matter for strafe, but AFAIK there's a difference between L12 and L13 fana for the other bow skills.
Anyway, there's nothing really bad about an 1/12 roll, so why did you roll up a new one at all? The only justification would be that you can afford it so easily that you won't notice the investment of another 2 HRs.
