Weird stats and requirement issues.

I recently began playing Diablo 2 and have run into a couple problems which I hope that you can help me with.

I have a level 27 assassin and my strength stat and dexterity as well don't go past 69. Instead of hitting 70 when I put points into them they go right back to 60. Any ideas on why it does this? It's done this two times already (should be 80 by now). I did this with no +strength gear on.

Also, some items for sale from vendors are red for me with a requirement of 60 strength even if I have more then 60.

Thanks for the help.|||5 and 6 look similar with the Diablo font, so I think your score actually went up from 59 to 60, not from 69 to 60.

Items can have a level req and class restrictions as well, not just str and dex reqs.|||Quote:
